Curriculum
In the upper elementary and intermediate years, instruction
focuses on core subjects, Bible Study, English, math, social studies,
and science. While we continue building basic skills, we also push
students to research and develop original thoughts, which builds
their leadership and communication abilities. We also enhance
our learning through foreign language studies (Japanese and
Spanish), music (band or choir), speech contests, National Geography
Bee, Spelling Bee, Readers Digest Word Power Challenge, and
extra-curricular sports. We
departmentalize a few subjects, which enables teachers to teach
from their particular strengths.
